By creating and publishing an event on PaceFyndr ("the Platform"), you ("the Host," "Organizer," or "you") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Platform Role & Disclaimer

PaceFyndr is a listing and discovery platform only. We do not organize, manage, supervise, or control any events listed on our platform.

PaceFyndr does NOT:

Verify the safety, legality, or quality of any event
Provide insurance or liability coverage for events
Guarantee the accuracy of event information
Supervise or manage event operations
Vet or background-check event organizers or participants
Assume any responsibility for event outcomes

Platform Role: PaceFyndr functions solely as a technology platform connecting event organizers with participants. All liability and responsibility for events rests exclusively with the Host.

2. Host Responsibilities

As an Event Host, you agree that you are solely and fully responsible for:

2.1 Legal Compliance

Obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, and permissions required for your event
Ensuring your event location is legally accessible and approved for your activity
Complying with all local, state, and national laws and regulations
Avoiding restricted areas (including military zones, private property without permission, and protected natural areas)
Paying all applicable taxes, fees, and charges related to your event

2.2 Safety & Risk Management

Conducting a proper risk assessment before the event
Ensuring the route/location is safe for participants
Providing clear safety instructions to all participants
Having an emergency response plan in place
Carrying appropriate first aid supplies when applicable
Communicating weather-related cancellations or modifications
Monitoring participants during the event (if applicable)

2.3 Participant Communication

Providing accurate and complete event information
Clearly communicating difficulty level, distance, and any special requirements
Informing participants of any risks associated with the activity
Communicating any changes or cancellations promptly
Responding to participant questions in a timely manner

2.4 Insurance (Strongly Recommended)

Obtaining appropriate liability insurance for your event is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
Understanding that PaceFyndr has no insurance coverage for your events
Considering event cancellation insurance for large events

3. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PaceFyndr, its operators, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

Your event or any activities conducted therein
Any injury, illness, death, or property damage occurring at or in connection with your event
Any violation of laws, regulations, permits, or third-party rights
Any breach of these Host Terms or the general Terms of Service
Any negligent, reckless, or intentional act or omission by you or your agents

This indemnification obligation survives the termination of your use of the Platform and continues even after your event has concluded.

4. Participant Waivers & Informed Consent

You are strongly encouraged and may be legally required to:

Have all participants sign a liability waiver before participating
Clearly communicate the inherent risks of the activity
Ensure participants understand they are participating at their own risk
Collect emergency contact information from all participants
Obtain parental consent for any participants under 18 years of age

Liability waivers may be legally required in your jurisdiction. Consult with a local attorney to ensure compliance with your local laws.

5. Force Majeure

Neither you nor PaceFyndr shall be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, severe weather)
Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
Government actions, orders, or regulations
Acts of terrorism, war, or civil unrest
Internet or telecommunications failures

In such events, you remain responsible for promptly notifying all participants of cancellations or postponements.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use PaceFyndr to organize events that:

Are illegal or promote illegal activity
Take place in restricted, prohibited, or unsafe areas
Involve dangerous activities without proper safety measures
Discriminate against any individual or group
Are primarily commercial events disguised as community gatherings (without disclosure)
Violate any property owner's rights or rules

7. Event Cancellation

You may cancel or modify your event at any time, but you must:

Notify all registered participants as soon as possible (ideally 24+ hours in advance)
Update the event status on the Platform immediately
Provide a clear reason for cancellation when possible
Offer refunds if applicable (for paid events)

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

PaceFyndr shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:

Any event listed on the Platform
Any injury, illness, death, or property damage occurring at any event
Any interactions between hosts and participants
Any actions or omissions of event hosts or participants

9. Disputes Between Hosts and Participants

Any disputes arising between you and event participants must be resolved directly between the parties involved. PaceFyndr is not a party to any such disputes and has no obligation to mediate or resolve them.

10. Governing Law

These Host Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Host Terms are subject to the arbitration and dispute resolution procedures outlined in the main Terms of Service.

11. Agreement Acknowledgment

By checking the "I agree to the Host Terms" box when publishing an event, you:

Acknowledge that you have read and understood these Host Terms
Accept full responsibility for your event
Agree to indemnify PaceFyndr as described above
Confirm that you will comply with all applicable laws

If you do not agree to these terms, do not publish events on PaceFyndr.
